There was a plan. It was a good plan. It involved being very productive despite being very busy, and it started out fine with going to the store before work today to pick up building supplies and, because I am mildly obsessed with collecting tools, a straight spade for edging borders.
Then there was the good news that the potting bench, the replacement one, was going to be delivered early today as opposed to later in the week.
Then the great news that we were going to finish show notes early and I could go home before getting the dog from daycare and before tech tonight and maybe actually put the project together.
Then my body got involved and said "No, you shall be sick and in pain. No doing anything that you do not absolutely have to do, instead you shall lie down as much as possible and hate being corporeal with all your might." So now that's the plan.
